retropieBrowsing and search
Documentation and archive filters run in your browser. Typing a search filters a local index; no external search service is called. A search term included in a shared page URL is part of that page request. The deployment configuration disables routine website access logs. Hosting providers still process ordinary network information to deliver requests. There is no newsletter or contact form collecting personal information.
Download delivery
Image links lead to RetroPie’s file host or official GitHub releases over HTTPS. Requests reveal ordinary network information such as your IP address to the service providing the file. The site does not require an account to download public files. Provider operational processing is separate from our browser-side search.
External resources
Following upstream, GitHub, Raspberry Pi or other external links takes you to services with their own policies. External documentation illustrations are presented as links instead of automatic third-party image loads. Historical upstream pages may use cookies or analytics that this local site does not.
Future services
Optional donations, account features or new analytics would require a privacy update before being enabled. Our reserved S3 bucket is not part of the current download flow.
