Troubleshooting

Games are not appearing

The menu does not list a transferred game or system.

Start here

  1. Confirm the files actually reached the intended system folder.
  2. Check the emulator’s supported extensions and any archive requirements.
  3. Confirm an emulator for that system is installed.
  4. Restart EmulationStation after transferring files.
What usually causes this?

Wrong folder, unsupported extension, missing emulator or stale menu data.

Advanced explanation

A missing menu entry is not evidence of insufficient CPU power. Paths and system definitions determine what the frontend lists.
