Troubleshooting

Wi-Fi will not connect

The board cannot join your wireless network.

Start here

  1. Confirm your exact board has Wi-Fi or a supported adapter.
  2. Check the network name, password and required wireless country setting.
  3. Try nearby reception and a network band supported by the hardware.
  4. If possible, use Ethernet temporarily to separate wireless problems from general networking.
What usually causes this?

Network credentials, region/band compatibility, weak signal or an unsupported adapter.

Advanced explanation

Do not publish passwords in a support report. A working network link and a working internet route are separate checks.

Record what changed after each check. Include your exact board, image, emulator and error when asking for help. These are diagnostic starting points, not guaranteed fixes for every OS.
